Our School Council

Every year our school councillors are elected by their peers in the Autumn Term.

They have a campaign period to persuade their classmates to vote for them and then balloting is held in the school hall, after which the winner are announced.

Each year the school council are involved in important fundraising events for the school, including MacMillan Coffee Morning, Children in Need, Red Nose Day, MK Food Bank and other local charity events.

Visit to Houses of Parliament

Our Giffard Park school council, head boy and head girl had a very exciting trip to the Houses of Parliament in London. We had a tour of the Houses of Parliament where we saw the beautiful central lobby and Westminster hall and learned lots about our UK parliament, we even saw a live debate taking place in the House of Commons. We were also lucky enough to meet out local MP Chris Curtis. The children were fantastic role models for Giffard Park Primary and we are very proud of them all!
