Great Giffard Bake Off
 
Children took on the role of master chefs during the week, researching, planning and creating a dish to be entered into our Great Giffard Bake off! The children utilised their skills from across the curriculum, reading and writing instructions and recipes, measuring and weighing the ingredients, as well as applying the principles of trial and error in a very tasty, fun-filled way. Children all across the school experienced first hand the highs and lows of creating an appealing, appetising and delicious dish to be judged by Miss Donoghue and Mr Molloy. After a long (and rather enjoyable tasting session) each class were given personalised feedback and we all look forward to putting this into practise ready for next year!
