British Science Week - Years 1&2

13th March 2017
This week is British Science week. To celebrate year 1 and 2 spent the day colour mixing, discovering what happens to skittles in water, making chemical reactions using fizzy colours and investigating how many drops of liquid a 1p can hold.
In the afternoon, Donaldson class went out to the field and collected lots of colourful, natural items then we discussed the colours we find in different seasons.
Here are some reviews from Donaldson class:
"It was exciting" (Freddie)
"I am happy that no one got on the sad face today" (George W)
"I was really happy learning about colour mixing" (Millie)
"I didn't think the skittles would do anything but they made a rainbow in the water" (Sara)
A few pictures from the day.
